Auditions

Interested in trying out for Amabile?

Auditions for the winter season will be held on Tuesday, September 1 at Bethany Lutheran, from 5 to 8 pm.  

Each audition takes 10 minutes.  Please prepare a short song of any genre and Sylvia will assess your:

  • Vocal range
  • Tonal memory (pitch recognition)
  • Choir experience

Membership

Rehearsal Times and Dates for the Winter 2026 Season:

  • Every Tuesday evening from 7-9pm at Bethany Lutheran Church on BI, from 9/15 – 12/8

  • Dress rehearsal on Thursday, December 10

  • Three performances: Fri, Dec 11 at 7:00pm and Sat, Dec 12 at 3:00pm and 7:00pm at Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church

Membership Info:

  • Dues start at $85/season and pay for 1/3 the production expenses; scholarships are always available, no questions asked

  • Music must be turned in at the end of the season for our music library

  • You can miss up to three rehearsals and MUST attend the rehearsals on concert week (Dec 8 and 10)
